Tony Marvelli
An experienced instrumentalist on bass (fretless extended range,
fretted, electric and upright), guitar (acoustic, 6 & 12 string
electric), mandolin, keyboards, and drums, Tony is called to
perform a wide range of musical styles with the artists he works
with. From folk rock to jazz to big band swing to old school R&B,
Tony covers it.
Raised in Upstate New York and currently residing in Nashville,
Tennessee, Tony has over 30 years professional experience as a
recording musician and live performer in a variety of musical
genres. Though jazz is his personal favorite, he is adept and
comfortable with any style of music. Tony is also active as a music
educator on electric bass, double bass, and guitar.
Tony has also performed in the house band of the TV talent search
special "Gifted" and with Denver & The Mile High Orchestra as the
house band on "The Dino Show" for the Trinity Broadcast Network.
Currently, Tony is working on original compositions for an
upcoming solo EP; new music and live performances with Sabrina,
Roxie Randle, Mary-Kathryn, Kent Burnside, and Tara LaDell. He
has recently completed new recordings and continues to tour with
Denver & The Mile High Orchestra.
