Pete Everett
My name is Pete Everett and I am currently playing bass and singing lead vocals with the legendary "Fatback Band". I have been with the Fatback Band for the last 12yrs. In this time we have toured Japan, England, Germany, Italy, Spain, Scotland and several states in the United States. Everywhere I go I take my Conklin 8 stringed beast. Everyone wants to know something about it. It has been a conversation piece from how wide the neck is to how is it tuned. It is an awesome piece of work that I give credit to the craftsmanship of Conklin Guitars and Basses. I also have a group that is up and rising called "The Total Package". We play a lot of R&B and Contemporary Jazz. My 8 stringed "OCTABASS" is perfect for the job. I also work with a Contemporary Gospel group called the "Prodigal Sons" and we just released a single entitled "Thank You For Saving Me". I am very proud to be a part of the Conklin Family. I would advise any musician that plays a string instrument to allow Conklin an opportunity to build you the guitar of your choice and I promise you won’t be disappointed. Pete has been the Musical Director for his church called Hood Memorial A.M.E. Zion, which has attended in Fayetteville, North Carolina for the last 15yrs.
