Hollowbody Prototype:This was the very first hybrid
hollowbody guitar we built. We had done hollow instruments prior to
this such as our revolutionary M.E.U. bass and various flat top semi-hollow
guitars, but not to this degree. Notice how the tailpiece is "Melted"
to perfectly match the pattern of the "Melted Top". We didn't like
the instability of the floating bridge/tailpiece set up and opted
to use a modern metal bridge and tailpiece set on studs and inserts
for all models after this one.. |
