20 years bass experience since I was asked to try bass instead of guitar. Found joy in funk and experimental styles much like Les Claypool. Played and owned a wide range of bass guitars from 4, 5 to 6 string models.
I have played in various cover and original projects. Currently playing with Albany, NY cover band SubZero and recording solo material for distribution. Fell in love with the Conklin tone with a neck through 4 string. I finally purchased my first GT-7 earlier in 2007. Now I won’t touch my other basses. There’s so much range that I can help with guitar parts, since we only have one guitarist. Everyone loves the tone my GT-7 throws out. I will be a Conklin player for life and can’t wait to design a custom in the future. |
