Chris Letchford is an aspiring technical guitar player from Houston TX. He
has been playing guitar since the age of 15 years old. He solely
concentrates on technical ablitly, technique, and writing melodic
compositions. He recently moved to Los Angeles CA to attend the Musicians
Institute for schooling and to start his music career as a performer and
private guitar teacher. He also attended the Guitar Craft Academy course at
M.I. to learn how to construct and build his own custom handmade guitars.
He recently formed Scale The Summit, a 4 Piece Instrumental (Adventure Metal)
band about a year ago. They base their song writing around creating
instrumental music, using original and interesting sounding melodies and
rhythms, but by also keeping the audience entertained with their technical
skills, as well as themselves. Their song structures are written without
the standard song structure of verse chorus verse, which allows them to branch
out and create a different sound all together. Chris Letchford is currently
recording new material with his band, playing shows and perfecting his
skills as a musician. He plays a Custom Melted Top Tele 8 String Conklin."
