I purchased a Conklin GT7 bass about 6 months ago. I love it - it has awesome tone, its comfortable, killer action. Basically, it is a bad ass piece of equipment. I have 9 other basses and the Conklin is the best no matter what i use it for jazz, funk, prog, heavy metal or whatever else I feel like playing. It is perfect for touch style playing as well.
