From Albert King, to Phyllis Diller, to the New York Playboy Club Orchestra,
to the St. Louis Symphony, Al Caldwell is ready for the challenge. He loves
his Signature 9 string midi bass. When he's traveling with Vanessa Williams,
his Conklin 9 string , allows him the freedom to play synth parts on the bass.
Al Caldwell has mentored under Anthony Jackson, and has been playing a
six string bass that he made, since 1983. But after discovering Conklin
Basses, he's looking forward to practicing again.
